  Variant of the verb 'malik' (to wrap, to roll, to turn, to twist) where the vowel 'i' was elided. This form is the one used in compounds. See 'malk-aating', 'malk-tang', 'malk-ting', 'malk-uung' and 'malkmalk-ting'. Not to be confused with 'aamalk' that is a variant of 'aamlak' (to pick, to pull down).
