    This is the only know case of a word specifically referring to one fish only, supposedly when it is young and small. The word cannot be used for any fish other than a small “siirik.” Furthermore, no known connection with the meaning “breadkind.”

They are obviously aware of the difficulties and dangers, but that is a central part of their territory, so they have learned how to take advantage of what that environment has to offer while managing the difficulties and dangers through communally shared knowledge.
