Made of two islands joined over time by the Ramas by filling in the shallow water between with oyster shells at the instigation of one of the early foreign Moravian ministers who lived on the island. Previously they had to travel by dory between the two islands. Now there is a cement sidewalk between the two halves and that is where the baseball field is.
